JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: “a) Quash the entire proceedings arising out of First Information Report in Crime No.0316/2024 for the offences punishable under Section 420, 506 of Indian Penal Code 1860 registered by the Respondent No.1 Govindarajanagar P.S., in so far as petitioner concerned herein only PENDING ON THE FILE OF XXIV ACMM, BANGALORE. b) Pass such order/s, relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of this case in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondent No.2 – complainant have filed a joint memo duly - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23958 CRL.P No. 9079 of 2024 signed by the petitioner, 2nd respondent and their respective counsel and the same is taken on record. 3. Petitioner, 2nd respondent and their respective counsel are physically present before the Court and they admit the contents of the Joint memo, which reads as under: “JOINT MEMO In view of the settlement between Accused and complainant that is Husband and wife, the Accused No.2 and complainant is settling the matter. In view of compromise between Husband and wife in Crl.ptn.3386/2025, the Crl.ptn. 9079/2024 shall be dispose of the petition in terms of the Crl.p No.3386/2025 in the interest of Justice & equity.” 4. In view of the settlement entered into between the 2nd respondent and his wife – Smt.Priyadarshini in Crl.P.No.3386/2025 as well as the settlement entered into between the petitioner and 2nd respondent herein as per the Joint memo supra, I pass the following: ORDER (i) Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint memo dated 02.07.2025. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23958 CRL.P No. 9079 of 2024 (ii) The entire proceedings arising out of FIR in Crime No.316/2024 registered by the 1st respondent – Police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 506 of IPC, pending on the file of XXIV ACMM, Bengaluru, insofar as the petitioner is concerned are hereby quashed.
