ORAL ORDER
This petition is filed by the sole accused praying to grant anticipatory bail in Crime No.123/2025 of Doddaballapura Town Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 504, 506 of IPC.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned HCGP for respondent – State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the alleged giving of money by 40 persons to this petitioner is in the year 2022 to get job at KPTCL. None of the said 40 persons came forward to file complaint. The mode of payment has not been stated. The petitioner is ready to co-operate with the police in investigation. The

petitioner is working as Manager in PLD Bank. With this he prayed to allow the petition.

Per contra, learned HCGP would contend that the IO has recorded the statements of several witnesses who have stated that they have given cash to the petitioner for getting job at KPTCL and they have been cheated by this petitioner. The investigation is in progress. The petitioner is required for interrogation. With this she prayed to reject the petition.
5. Having heard the learned counsels, the Court has perused the FIR, complaint and other materials placed on record.

On perusal of the first information, the allegation against this petitioner is receiving money from 40 persons, promising to get job for them at KPTCL and cheating them by not getting job to them or not returning the money. The petitioner is working as Manager in PLD Bank. The offence alleged against the petitioner are not punishable

either with death of imprisonment for life. There are no criminal antecedents of this petitioner. The petitioner is ready to co-operate with police in investigation and abide by terms and conditions to be imposed by this Court.
7. Considering the above aspects, the petitioner has made out case for grant of bail with conditions. In the result, the following:
ORDER
The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest, in Crime No.123/2025 of Doddaballapura Town Police Station, subject to following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall voluntarily appear before the IO within 15 days from this day and execute a bail bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with one surety for the like sum to the satisfaction of the IO.
(ii) The petitioner shall co-operate with the IO in investigation.

(iii) The petitioner shall appear before the IO whenever called for.
(iv) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence.
