This criminal misc. application is filed under Section 528 of B.N.S.S. by the petitioner/accused with prayer to quash entire proceeding including charge sheet No.444A of 2023 dated 20.01.2025 (Annexure No.2) and summoning /cognizance order dated 08.04.2025 (Annexure No.3) and FIR No.265 of 2023 dated 08.07.2023 under Sections 498A, 323, 504 and 506 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and under Section 3/4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act registered at Police Station Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar in Criminal Case No.371 of 2025 “State Vs. Mohsin and Others” pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding 1 2025:UHC:3999 Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court vide order dated 25.04.2025 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, District Udham Singh Nagar in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, the Secretary, DLSA, District Udham Singh Nagar has submitted his report dated 07.05.2025 which clearly indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the entire proceeding of Criminal Case No.371 of 2025 “State Vs. Mohsin and Others” under Sections 498A, 323, 504 and 506 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition and Under Section 3/4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar is hereby quashed qua the petitioner. 5.
