GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 3 HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.30294 of 2025 ORDER : In the present writ petition, Petitioner is questioning the action of the Respondents in not releasing the retirement benefits i.e., Encashment of Earned Leave (EL) as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner had retired from the Respondent No.5- Corporation on 31.05.2022 upon attaining the age of superannuation of 60 years in the post of Warden Grade – I. 3. The grievance of the Petitioner now is that as per the proceedings of the Managing Director of the Respondent No.5- Corporation vide Procd.No.839/2011/Estt/2024-3 Dated 22.01.2025, the amount due to the Petitioner towards Encashment of Earned Leave(E.L) was quantified at Rs.10,24,220/- and even though the amount was uploaded in the CFMS portal, the said amount was not released to the account of the Petitioner. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader Sri S.Raju appearing for Respondent Nos.1, 3 & 4 submits that reasonable time may be granted for release of the amount due to the Petitioner. 4 5. Considering the submissions made, Respondents are directed to release the Earned Leave (E.L) Encashment to the Petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
