JUSTICE SACHIN SHANKAR MAGADUM ORAL ORDER The counsel have today filed a joint compromise petition indicating that petitioners and respondents 5 and 7 have amicably given quietus to the disputes in terms of the settlement indicated in the joint compromise petition which is now filed before this Court. 2. Along with the joint compromise petition, a joint development agreement entered into between respondents 5 and 7 is also annexed accompanied by General power of attorney. 3. This Court has interacted with the petitioners as well as respondents No.5 and 7. Upon such interaction, it is placed on record that none of the parties who are signatories to the joint compromise petition have raised any allegations of coercion, duress, or undue influence. All the signatories have unequivocally affirmed the contents of the joint compromise petition and the recitals contained - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:24250 WP No. 31477 of 2024 in the Joint Development Agreement. The compromise appears to be lawful and is entered into voluntarily, with full consent of the parties. Accordingly, the compromise petition is accepted and taken on record. 4. In light of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the joint compromise petition. The Joint Development Agreement shall be treated as an integral part of the said compromise petition. 5. In view of the above settlement, the show cause notice dated 22.08.2024 issued by respondent No.2, which is produced at Annexure–N, is rendered infructuous and is accordingly quashed and set aside.
