2. The petitioners are seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.3 - Tahsildar, Magadi Taluk, to consider the representations dated 20.07.2017 at Annexure - B given by the petitioners and pass necessary

3. The contention of the petitioners is that pursuant to the land granted in terms of order bearing No.LNDUCR (3) 23/1996-97, a saguvali chit was also issued in favour of the first petitioner's husband late Sri Chikkanna. However, their names have not been entered in the revenue records.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - Tahsildar, Magadi Taluk, to verify the records and find out if an order of regularisation was passed by the Committee and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioners. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the names of the petitioners in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order. This direction is issued only to enable the entry of the names of the petitioners in the revenue records. Ordered accordingly.
