This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents more particularly, the respondents 4 and 5, in not auto mutating petitioner name in the revenue records for his landed property to an extent of Ac. 0.16 cents in Sy.No. 96/6 situated at Anupalli Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Tirupati District as illegal, irregular, irrational, contrary to the circular issued by the government and as well as contrary to the provisions of Rights in Lands and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and rules framed there under and violative of Article 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to auto-mutate petitioner name in online revenue records for the said property by duly considering the auto-mutation request No. 1012 AMT1759916305623 and pass….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 5. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents, more particularly respondent Nos.4 and 5, failed to auto-mutate the petitioner’s name in the revenue records in respect of his landed property admeasuring Ac.0.16 cents in Sy.No.96/6 situated at Anupalli Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Tirupati District, and that such inaction is illegal, irregular, irrational, contrary to the circulars issued by the Government, and also contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the Rules framed thereunder. Hence the writ petition. 4. Hence the writ petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents furnished written instructions dated 19.12.2025 issued by the Tahsildar, wherein it is stated that the revenue records have already been updated and the online entries were also made on 19.12.2025. 5. Considering the submissions made on either side and in view of the written instructions furnished by the respondents, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed and, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D.
