In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to recalculate the amount of arrears of pension and interest because of the wrong calculation made. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide her legal notice dated 10.8.2024 (Annexure P-11), in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Vikas Arora, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 and on the asking of the Court, he accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.3 also. He does not oppose the prayer, as made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide her legal notice dated 10.8.2024 (Annexure P-11), submitted by the petitioner within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
