On the last date of hearing, no one had put in appearance on behalf of the appellant and the Registry was directed to issue notice to the appellant, unserved respondents as well as their counsel about the date fixed before this Court.
2. As per the report of the Registry, appellant has been duly served. However, today also, there is no representation on behalf of the appellant. It seems that the appellant is no more interested in pursuing the matter. This Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for want of prosecution.
3. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
4. The Insurance Company is hereby directed to disburse the current scheduled fee to Mr. Pradeep Goyal, Advocate within a period of 20 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment, in view of the order dated 18.07.2024 passed in FAO No.1682 of 2007 by this Court.
5. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
