Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) That orders dated 12.01.2022 passed by respondent No.1 herein in an appeal filed by private respondents herein against the orders dated 17.09.2021 passed by the Settlement Collector, Kangra Division at Dharamshala, H.P., i.e. respondent No.3, alongwith appeal itself, as is filed, may very kindly be quashed and set aside; ii) That the Settlement Collector, Kangra at Dharamshala, H.P., i.e. respondent No.3, may very kindly be directed to decide the correction application as is pending before him; iii) That respondent No.2 herein may very kindly be Registrar directed not to decide the partition application 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:27584 alongwith appeal as is pending before him against mode of partition and to decide the appeal only; iv) That respondent No.2 herein may very kindly be directed not to decide the matter pending before him uptil when the Settlement Collector, Kangra Division at Dharamshala, H.P. decides the correction application and with further directions to respondent No.2 to decide the appeal only after decision of the Settlement Collector with respect to correction application.” 2. When this case was taken up for consideration today, learned Counsel appearing for respondents No.4 and 5 apprised the Court that an order has been passed by learned Financial Commissioner (Appeals), dated 28.06.2024, in which the partition proceedings have been stayed till the disposal of the correction of the application by learned Settlement Collector. 3. In light of this development and in light of the fact that this order has attained finality, these proceedings are ordered to be closed. 4. The petition stands disposed of.
