Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 11 of 2025 arising out of Bahragora P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024 registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, pending in court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Jamshedpur. On 08.11.2024, at about 01:50 p.m., Bahragora Police, on the basis of confidential information, intercepted a pickup van bearing Registration No. OR11D1986 and apprehended this petitioner and two other accused persons. On search, 20 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the said pickup van. The quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of commercial quantity.
