THE STATION HOUSE OFFICER, MYDUKUR U/G POLICE STATION, MYDUKUR YSR KADAPA DISTRICT. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.4 Police Station in continuing Rowdy Sheet vide Rowdy Sheet Nos. 339 to 346 against us, despite the Court of the II Additional Sessions Judge, Kadapa acquitted us from the offences, as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of the Articles 14,19(1)(d) and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondent No.4 to close the Rowdy Sheets No.339 to 346 and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondent No.4 to refrain from insisting the petitioners presence at his Police Station, pending disposal of this Writ Petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S): 1. GP FOR HOME 4 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 24611 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.4 Police Station in continuing Rowdy Sheet vide Rowdy Sheet Nos. 339 to 346 against us, despite the Court of the II Additional Sessions Judge, Kadapa acquitted us from the offences, as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of the Articles 14,19(1)(d) and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondent No.4 to close the Rowdy Sheets No.339 to 346 and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri D.Vigneshwar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter, would submit that the cases registered against the Petitioners were ended in acquittal. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioners in the vicinity, rowdy sheet Nos. 339 to 346, were opened against the Petitioners. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that as per the counter filed by the respondents, no cases are pending against the Petitioners. 5 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is allowed and the rowdy sheets bearing Nos. 339 to 346, opened against the Petitioners is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
