RAVI, J. -------------------------------------------- W.P.(C) No.12342 of 2025 -------------------------------------------- Dated this the 7th day of April, 2025 JUDGMENT The only prayer in this writ petition is for fixing a time limit for complying with the directions issued in Ext.P1 judgment. By Ext.P1 this Court had issued the following directions: “(a) WP(C) No.31710/2017 is allowed and Ext.P13, to the extent to which it relates to the petitioners and to their properties, is set aside. (b) As a consequence, the Land Revenue Commissioner is directed to hear the petitioners and examine all their documents and to serve them the copies of the materials or reports, which may be relied against them; thus culminating in an appropriate order and necessary action as expeditiously as is possible, adverting specifically to the documents relating to the land bought in by the Government from 'Ashley Estates'. (c) The petitioners will be permitted to remit land tax provisionally but without equity being available to them; which shall be finally governed by the decision to be taken 2025:KER:30538 WP(C) NO. 12342 OF 2025 4 by the Land Revenue Commissioner in terms of the afore directions. (d) WP(C) No.14245/2016 is closed without any orders and making it clear that the afore directions would apply to the parties therein also.” 2. Even though the judgment was passed on 06.06.2023 it is submitted that since no time limit was fixed, compliance with the directions is getting delayed. I find justification in the prayer made. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is allowed and it is directed that the 2nd respondent shall comply with the directions contained in Ext.P1 judgment, at the earliest, at any rate within two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
