Heard Ms. T.V.Sri Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submitt that since the issue arises out of a civil dispute, the police cannot give protection unless there is an appropriate order from the competent Court. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had filed O.S. No. 26 of 2013 before the Court of the Senior Civil Judge, Narsipatnam, seeking a decree of permanent injunction against the unofficial 4 respondents, and the said suit was decreed on 28.07.2025. It is further submitted that no appeal has been preferred till date against the said judgment and decree. 5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent–police to attend to the cause of the petitioner and extend necessary police protection so long as the decree in O.S. No. 26 of 2013 remains in force and is in favour of the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
