Heard Sri Koti Reddy Idamakanti, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that the respondent police have never interfered with the civil disputes of the petitioner nor threatened the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner was called to the police station only in connection with the following criminal cases: i) Cr. No. 12 of 2017, under Sections 452, 324, 355, 506 read with 34 IPC, on the file of Vinjamuru Police Station. After completing a detailed investigation, the Investigating Officer filed the charge sheet before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, Udayagiri, in C.C. No. 265 of 2017. After a full-fledged trial, the petitioner was acquitted on 05-03-2021. ii) Cr. No. 166 of 2018, under Section 326 IPC, on the file of Vinjamuru Police Station. After detailed investigation, the charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, Udayagiri, on 09-01-2019, and the case is pending trial. iii) Cr. No. 20 of 2020, under Sections 435, 448, 427 read with 34 IPC, on the file of Vinjamuru Police Station. A charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, Udayagiri, in C.C. No. 365 of 2022 dated 28-03-2022, and the case is pending trial. iv) Cr. No. 82 of 2022, under Sections 448, 427, 506 IPC, on the file of Vinjamuru Police Station. After investigation, the charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, Udayagiri, in C.C. No. 534 of 2022 dated 17-09-2022, and the case is pending trial. The Station House Officer, Vinjamuru Police Station, SPSR Nellore District, opened Rowdy Sheet No. 60 on 29-06-2022 against the petitioner after obtaining permission from the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, SPSR Nellore District, vide Proceedings No. C.No.20/GL-HS- SDOK/2022, and the same is being continued. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Recording the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of. The respondent police are directed not to interfere in civil disputes between parties and not to call the petitioner without following due process of law.
