List of fresh cases has been revised but nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner to press the petition though learned Standing Counsel for the respondents is present. 2. I have perused the record. 3. From perusal of the record, it transpires that the present petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the order dated 25.11.2024 passed by the respondent No.3/District Supply Officer, Jaunpur by which fair price shop license of the petitioner was cancelled. 4. It is argued by learned Standing Counsel that against the aforesaid order, a statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file appeal before the Division of the Commissioner as provided under Section 13(2) of U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016. 5. In this view of the matter, the Court is of the opinion that since there is statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file appeal as provided under Section Section 13(2) of U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016, no relief could be granted to the petitioner and the petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy. 6. Since nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner even in the revised list, the present petition is dismissed in default.
