Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 6319 of 2025 Petitioner :- Arun Bhadauriya Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Jai Singh Parihar, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent recruitment body to decide the claim of the petitioner raised in his representation in accordance with law and place him in the merit list as successful candidate. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner has obtained marks lower than the last selected candidate in the select list and therefore, he could not be selected. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as and when the additional/ waiting list is published, petitioner may have the chance. In the considered view of the Court, the waiting list can be taken into consideration after the selected candidates do not turn up and join and hence this is a premature stage to entertain a petition. Accordingly, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. However, liberty rests with the petitioner to approach this Court again as and when the waiting list is taken into consideration for making appointments against the left over vacancies. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands
disposed of.
