ORDER:
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C)/under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) has been filed by the petitioner/Accused No.1, seeking quashment of the proceedings pending against him in C.C.No.1098 of 2024 on the file of I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Ananthapuram District, for the offences punishable under Sections 85 r/w 3(5) of BNS and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. Heard Sri K.Ramakrishna Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein is Accused No.1. The petitioner herein is the husband of the defacto complainant. He would further submit that all the allegations made against the petitioner herein are omnibus in nature. He finally would submit that the petition may be disposed of without causing any prejudice to the rights and
contentions of the petitioners.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders.
5. Considering the submissions, this Criminal Petition is disposed of without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise all his contentions before the Trial Court in his defence.
