Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay the arrears of salary to the petitioner from 01.07.2002 to 27.02.2007 i.e. Rs.598452/- and to pay bonus of Rs.7401/- II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay 12% interest on the above mentioned amount, i.e. Rs.598452/- and bonus of Rs.7401/-, from 01.03.2007 to till now." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the claim of petitioner for arrears of salary is pending consideration before respondent no. 2, however till date, no order has been passed. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that claim of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that petitioner shall file fresh representation before respondent no.2-The Joint Director Education, Kanpur Region, Kanpur, within 15 days from today along with a certified copy of this order. The same shall be considered and decided by respondent no.2 within a period of two months thereafter. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law. 7.
