The present Second Bail Application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Rajendra Mewari alias Raju, aged about 24 years, son of Shri Dev Singh Mewari, a resident of Kalaagar, Khansyu, Okhalkanda, District Nainital. The applicant is currently in judicial custody in connection with Case Crime No. 01 of 2024, under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Khansyu, District Nainital. Through this application, the applicant seeks his release on bail. 4. It is pertinent to mention that the applicant’s First Bail Application, being Bail Application No. 1670 of 2024, was rejected by this Court on 26.03.2025. 5. In the present Second Bail Application, no new grounds or material change in circumstances have been brought on record that would warrant a different view from the one taken earlier. 2025:UHC:4638 6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and in the absence of any fresh ground, this Court finds no merit in the present bail application. 7.
