Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus upon respondent nos.3 and 4 directing to decide the application and payment bill of the arrears of promoted pay-scale dated 21.11.2023 (Annexure No.12 to this writ petition) by which petitioner prayed for the arrears of promoted pay-scale which is from October, 2015 to February, 2018, pending before respondent nos.3 and 4." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that claim for promoted pay- scale from October, 2015 to February, 2018 is pending consideration before the respondent no.3, however, till date no order has been passed. The direction may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that claim of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the claim of the petitioner for promoted pay-scale from October, 2015 to February, 2018 pending before respondent No.3-District Inspector of Schools, Prayagraj, be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law. 7.
