BY ADVS.DEEPU THANKAN CON.CASE(C) NO. 862 OF 2023 -2- SRI. SUNIL K KURIAKOSE-GP; THIS CONTEMPT OF COURT CASE (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 14.12.2023, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: CON.CASE(C) NO. 862 OF 2023 -3- JUDGMENT The petitioners have approached this Court, alleging that the directions in the judgment in question have not been complied with by the respondents. 2. However, the respondents take the stand that the Institute of Human Resources Development for Electronics (IHRD) is hard- pressed for money because the Government has not released the sums which are due to it. 3. Today, learned Government Pleader – Sri.Sunil Kumar Kuriakose, filed a statement, in which, it is averred that certain sums have already been allocated to the ‘IHRD’; and that the Government will sanction such amounts as are necessary from it, as per the requirements of a particular financial year. 4. The learned Government Pleader explained that the figures in the statement are only the CON.CASE(C) NO. 862 OF 2023 -4- maximum that the Government has allotted to the ‘IHRD’ this year, which is kept high to ensure that it can sanction the maximum which is required; and therefore, submitted that every step has already been taken by the Government in this regard. Taking note of the afore submissions, and since the burden of complying with the directions is certainly on the 1st respondent, I close this contempt case, leaving liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court for a rehearing in this matter, if the same are not complied with in its entirety, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
