The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandil/Kapali P.S. Case No. 189 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 382 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil. 3. On 18.08.2024, Chandil/Kapali Police apprehended this petitioner from Shahid Bagan Dangodih, Kapali and on serach, a country-made pistol and a live cartridge was recovered from his possession. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since last six months. It was further submitted that the charge has already been framed in this case and the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil in connection with Chandil/Kapali P.S.
