1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent/ BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (‘BRPL’) to provide electricity connection to the petitioner.
2. On the last date of hearing, i.e. 1st April, 2026, the submission of counsel for BRPL was noted that BRPL in the process of setting up a transformer in the said area and is carrying out electrification of the area where the petitioner’s plot is located.
3. Mr. Sharique Hussain, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1/BRPL submits that a connection has been granted to the petitioner on 19th June, 2026.
4. A copy of the bill raised by the BRPL on the petitioner, which bears the CA No. 155201758, as well as the energisation date of 19th June, 2026 and also the address of the petitioner has been handed over in Court and the This is a digitally signed order.
