This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer:
“…to issue the Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of mandamus to direct the Respondent 1 to 4 to direct the 5th Respondent not to interfere in the personal activities and the livelihood of the Petitioner and his family members .…”
2. Heard Sri K.Rama Koteswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that a case in Crime No.25 of 2024 under Section 34(A) of A.P.Excise Act, was registered on 24.01.2024 against the petitioner. He would further submit that except for the purpose of investigation in the above crime, the police never interfered with the personal activities of the petitioner. 4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime which is registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
