JUSTICE SINDHU SHARMA, JUDGE ORDER 03.01.2025 1. Petitioner was placed under detention vide order No. 5th/DM/K/PSA of 2023 dated 01.08.2023. The detention of the petitioner was quashed in HCP No. 67/2024, vide judgment dated 19.12.2024. 2. The contention of the petitioner was that though the judgment was served upon respondent No. 4, Superintendent of Sub-District Jail, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, where the detenue was lodged, the concerned respondent failed to release the detenue despite the order of this Court. 3. Mr. Bhanu Jasrotia, learned GA has sought some time to report instructions with regard to release of the detenue. 4. Today when the matter was listed, Mr. Bhanu Jasrotia, learned GA, has placed on record communication from the Superintendent of Sub- District Jail, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, addressed to the Special D.G. CID, J&K, Jammu, informing that the release order of the detenue was received on 03.01.2025 at 03:10 p.m., and in this regard, intimation has CCP(S) No. 2/2025 already been sent to his son for release of his father. It is further stated that the detenue will be handed over to his son on arrival. 5.
