District and Session Judge, Udupi sitting at Kundapura to expedite disposal of the A.P.No.503/2024 pending before the it within 3 months. ii. Grant such other and further reliefs, including the costs of this writ petition in the interest of justice." 2. Heard Shri B.B. Patil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Shruti Chaganti, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.1. 3. The petitioner is said to be respondent No.3 in A.P.No.503/2024. The issue relates to a preliminary notification issued by the National Highway Authority of India under Section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956. Award comes to be passed on 15.05.2021. The proceedings are now pending in an application filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and it is said to be pending for the last one year. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35088 WP No. 22479 of 2025 4. Both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents would seek expeditious disposal of the said proceeding pending in A.P.No.503/2024. 5. In the light of the submission and the matter relating to enhancement of compensation, I deem it appropriate to direct A.P.No.503/2024 pending, within the outer limit of four months, if not earlier.
