ORAL ORDER
This petition is filed by the sole accused under Section 482 of BNSS praying to grant anticipatory bail in Crime No.141/2025 of Channapatna Rural Police Station registered for the offences under Sections 420, 468, 471 of IPC. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned HCGP for respondent / State. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is not involved in creating any fake marks card. The alleged fake marks card has been sent by one Manju to the first informant wherein the name of this petitioner has been found. The petitioner has not sent that marks card to the first informant. The petitioner is not knowing who is that Manju and who has sent the marks card through Whatsapp to the first informant. The

petitioner is ready to co-operate with the police in investigation and abide by conditions to be imposed by this Court. With these he prayed to allow the petition. 4. Per contra, learned HCGP would contend that the SSLC marks card sent by Manju to the first informant is found to be fake on verification with the concerned authorities. The petitioner is required for interrogation. With this she prayed to reject the petition. 5. Having heard the learned counsels, the Court has perused the FIR, complaint and other materials placed on record. 6. The first information has been filed by Manjunath and it is based on SSLC marks card received through whatsapp sent by one Manju. The said marks card is found to be fake on verification with concerned authorities. Except the fact that the name of the petitioner is mentioned in the marks card sent by Manju to the first informant through whatsapp, at this stage, it cannot be

said what is the role of this petitioner in creating the said marks card. The petitioner is ready to co-operate with police in investigation and abide by any terms and conditions to be imposed by this Court. The offences alleged against the petitioner are not punishable either with death or imprisonment for life. There are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner. 7. Considering the above, the petitioner has made out a case for grant of anticipatory bail with conditions.
In the result, the following:
ORDER
The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest, in Crime No.141/2025 of Channapatna Rural Police Station, subject to following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall voluntarily appear before the IO within 15 days from this day and execute a bail bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only)

with one surety for the like sum to the satisfaction of the IO.
(ii) The petitioner shall co-operate with the IO in investigation.
(iii) The petitioner shall appear before the IO whenever called for.
(iv) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence.
