Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has made the following prayers:- "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to 4 not to harass and humiliate the petitioner and his family members in pursuance of first information report dated 15.04.2025 in Case Crime No.103 of 2025, under Sections-87 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (B.N.S.), 2023, Police Station-Durala, District Meerut lodged by the respondent no.4. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case. (iii) Award the cost of the petition to the petitioner." 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the police is not harassing the petitioner and the first information report has been lodged by respondent no.4 against the son of the petitioner. 4. In light of the above submissions made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, we do not see any reason to intervene in the said proceedings. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate authority for redressal of any grievance that he may have. 5. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
