Heard Sri G.R.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite lodging a complaint dated 30.05.2023, respondent No.4 failed to register a case against the unofficial respondents and interfering in the civil disputes between them. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that upon receipt of the representation made by the petitioners to the Superintendent of Police, the matter was entrusted to the Assistant Superintendent of Police for enquiry. It is submitted that the petitioners were called upon to appear and explain their grievance; however, they did not turn up during the course of enquiry. Consequently, the enquiry was closed and a report was submitted to the Superintendent of Police. 5. In the light of the submissions made, it is apposite to dispose of the present writ petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the District Police Complaints Authority by submitting an appropriate complaint against the concerned officials. If such a complaint is made, the competent authority shall examine the same and take a decision in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
