Raghunandan Rao) As all these Contempt Cases arise out of the same Common Judgment, they are being disposed of, by way of this Common Order. 2. The petitioners had approached this Court, by way of Appeals, being aggrieved by the compensation awarded to them, under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The Appeals filed by the petitioners herein, were disposed of, by way of a Common Judgment, dated 10.11.2017. In this Common Judgment, the compensation payable to the petitioners was enhanced, by fixing the market value per acre at Rs.3,00,000/- as opposed to the earlier fixation of the market value at Rs.1,00,000/- or Rs.1,30,000/- per acre. 3. The petitioners have now approached this Court, by way of the present set of Contempt Cases, complaining that the enhanced compensation has not been paid by the respondent herein and as such, the respondent is guilty of violation of the Orders of this Court amounting to Contempt of Court. 4. A perusal of the Common Judgment, dated 10.11.2017, would show that, the Judgment passed by the erstwhile High Court, was a Judgment for enhancement of compensation. The remedy available to the petitioners, in the event of non-payment of enhanced compensation, is to move the appropriate Court, for execution of the said Judgment. Non-payment of enhanced compensation, pursuant to the Orders of the Appellate Court would not 7 RRR,J & TCDS,J C.C.No.3669 of 2025 & batch amount to violation of the Orders of the Court, and consequently, none of the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, would be applicable. 5. In that view of the matter, these Contempt Cases are dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioners to initiate appropriate remedies for recovering the compensation awarded, by the erstwhile High Court.
