By way of present petition, challenge has been laid to an
order dated 01.11.2023 (Annexure P-10) which was passed by Land Acquisition Collector, Nagar Improvement Trust Amritsar-cum-Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Amritsar-1 under Section 28 of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short ‘1894 Act’). In terms of Section 28A(3) of 1894 Act, specific statutory remedy is available to the petitioner. In such circumstances, it will not be appropriate to entertain the present writ petition. Thus, the present petition is disposed of, however, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail his alternate remedies.
