The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of order of this Court’s dated 08.10.2024 passed in WPS No.6383/2024. Relevant portion of said order reads as under : “6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised, submission of counsel for the respective parties in particular submission of the counsel for the 2 Respondent/State that the recommendation of the committee for regularizing the services dated 22.08.2023 has already been forwarded by the Respondent No. 3/Collector to the Respondent No. 2, writ petition at this stage is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No. 2 to pass an order on the recommendation made by the committee forwarded by the Respondent No. 3 expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 7. With above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.” 2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that order/direction of this Court has been duly complied with vide order dated 20.01.2025 passed by respondent No.2/Collector. 3. Order dated 20.01.2025 passed by respondent No.2/Collector is taken on record. 4. Given the fact that the order under contempt has been complied with, the contempt petition as of now stands disposed off.
