The petjtjon/Appeal comI'ng On for hearing, upon perusing the petjtI'On and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of sri ANAND KUMAR KOCHIRI Advocate for the petitl'oner, PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) for the Respondent and the court made the following. nnEEBtry THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 977 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Pet'ltion, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/Al seeking bail in Crime No.550/2024 of P.M.Palem, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence under Sections 20(b)(ii) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 20.9.2024 at 5.30 p.m., on receipt of credible 'lnformation regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I. of P.M.Palem Police, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate along with staff, reached Y.S.R. Cricket Stadium, P.M.Palem, Visakhapatnam and started conducting vehicle checking. They found three persons coming on a Scooty and on seeing police, the said three persons tried to escape. Then police apprehended them and on enquiry they disclosed their identity particulars as of Al to A3 and police seized 3.5 kgs of hashish oil from their possession. The contraband along with vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. ` . I- 2 4. Heard. perusedtherecord. 5. A perusal of the material available on record goes to showthatthe police, on credible I|nformation, arrested the accused and seized 3.5kgs of hashish oil and the petitioner was arrested on 21.9.2024 and sI®nCe then he has been in judI-Cial remand. lt appears that major part of the I-nVeStigation has been completed except filing of charge sheet. 7. ln view of the aforesaid facts and cl'rcumstances of the case, thI'S court js inclined to grant ba" to the petitioner here,'n, on the following conditl-ons. (I-) The petjtI'Oner/Al herein shall be released on his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the xvl Additional Judicial Magistrate of First class, Bheemunl|patnam,I (I'i) On release, the petitioner sha" appear before the station House officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and o5.00 p.m., till filing of charge sheet. 8.
