Arb Appln Nos. 672, 675, 678 & 681 of 2025 ORDER These applications have been filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 2.The applicants herein had purchased the petition mentioned villa, which forms part of the larger layout. It is stated that there are totally 63 villas. The promoter has shown the respondent herein as entity to maintain the villas. Each of the villa owners entered into an agreement with the respondent. A copy of the agreement is enclosed in the typed set of papers. It is seen therefrom the applicants paid a sum of Rs.14 Lakhs upfront. It is stated that a sum of Rs.9 crores was collectively collected from all the 63 villa owners. The agreement was entered into on 05.12.2019 and the respondent was obliged to provide maintenance service for a period of ten years. The grievance of the applicants is that the respondent is not paying the security agency and therefore, the applicants apprehend that the security agency withdrew their services, which led to the filing of these applications. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
