By way of this application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Assam as respondent no.5 in WP(C) No.2642/2024. It appears that the petitioner while filing the connected writ petition, inadvertently due to oversight, failed to implead the Finance Department to the Government of Assam as party respondent and upon releasing the same, the present impleadment application has been filed. Ms. M. Borah, learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the Finance Department is a necessary party as the petitioner is seeking enforcement of Government Notification dated 03.1.2019 having financial implication that would entitled the petitioner to fixed wages/remuneration etc. Page No.# 3/3 Mr. D. Borah, learned Government Advocate appearing for the State in his usual fairness does not oppose to the said prayer of impleadment. Heard the learned counsel for both the parties and perused the materials available on record. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the parties, the impleadment sought for is allowed. Accordingly, the Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Assam is arrayed as party respondent no.5 in WP(C) No.2642/2024.
