In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the balance of salary of the petitioner alongwith interest @ 18% per annum from the date of its actual accrual till its realization. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide his representation dated 8.4.2024 (Annexure P-9), in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Vikas Arora, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and on the asking of the Court, he also accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.4. In case the petitioner is held entitled for the benefit, as claimed by him in the representation dated 8.4.2024 (Annexure P-9), the same be also released to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 04 weeks thereafter.
