JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION No.8455 of 2022 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “….to issue order, writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the final bill amount of Rs. 7,21,934/-, Rs. 7,26,287/- and Rs. 7,23,278/- to the petitioner including interest for the works done in pursuance of Agreement with the 5th respondent Vide Agreement No. 1658/2017-18 dated 12.10.2018, Agreement No. 1659/2017-18 dated 12.10.2018 and Agreement No.1660/2017-18, dated 12.10.2018 as being illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and Unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to pay undisputed final bill amount to the petitioner including interest for the works done in pursuance of agreement with the 5th respondent and to pass…” 2. When the matter came up for admission on 06.04.2022, this Court passed the following interim order:- “Heard both sides. In the circumstances, the respondents are directed to pay the approved and final bill amount due to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.” 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader has furnished the copy of instructions of the Executive Engineer, M.I.W.
