ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order, directing the Respondent No.2, to forthwith release the outstanding balance payment of Rs.11,80,380/- (Rupees eleven lakh eight thousand three eight only) together with interest of 18% p.a., by allowing this writ petition in the interest of justice;
ii) Issue such other writ, order or directions required in the facts and circumstances of this case;
iii) Directing the Respondents to pay the costs of this Writ Petition to the Petitioner to meet the ends of justice.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had supplied various stationery resources to the schools in the Kolar district in terms of Office order issued by respondent No.2. Pursuant to the supply the petitioner having raised a bill, the amounts required to be paid have not been paid, a legal notice

at Annexure-F has been issued. Neither having received the reply nor paid the outstanding amounts, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs.
3. Whenever any bills are raised on a statutory Authority, it is required for such State Authority to consider the same and pass necessary order either accepting or rejecting the bills which are raised. Neither having been done, I pass the following;
ORDER i. The writ petition stands disposed.
ii. Respondents are directed to consider the bills raised along with supporting documents within a period of 45 days from date of receipt of copy of this order.
iii. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner.
