JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 2 24-03-2025 Heard the parties. 2. The present application has been filed for quashing the Patliputra P.S. Case No. 427/2017, Spl. 8961/2017, punishable for the offences u/ss 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 30A, 38(1) (2), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act. 3. The prosecution story in brief is that petitioner is found involved in doing business of illicit liquor. Total quantity of liquor is 1574 litres were recovered from a Pick-up-Van. The name of the petitioner surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of apprehended co-accused and also through a mobile number. Thereafter, this case was lodged by the informant. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.598 of 2019(2) dt.24-03-2025 2/2 4. The petitioner wants this Court to quash the F.I.R. considering his defence, which is not permissible in law. 5.
