Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Tiwari, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client has been widowed. Her husband was called upon to discharge duty in Covid time. He got infected and died. Paragraph 13 from the petition is reproduced below. "13. That the competent authority/respondent no. 3 vide his Certificate No. 805 dated 23-07-2021 certified that the petitioner's husband Ajay Singh at the time of his demise was discharging his duties for un-interupted electricity supply to the concerned Covid Hospitals since 31-03-2021 to 15-05-2021, but unfortunately he has been suffering from Covid- 19 and passed away due to Covid- 19, but of no avail. A true/photo copy of Certificate No. 805 dated 23-07-2021 issued by the respondent no. 3 is being annexed herewith and marked as Annexure No. 9 to this writ petition." 2. He submits, there be direction for payment of compensation to his client in terms of Government Order dated 11th April, 2020. 3. Mr. Pranjal Mehrotra, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent no.3 (the Executive Engineer) and submits, petitioner's claim has already been forwarded to respondent no.2 (the District Magistrate). Mr. Ambrish Shukla, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State. 4. Respondent no.2 is directed to consider petitioner's claim forwarded by respondent no.3 under cover letter dated 31st May, 2021. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with copy of the forwarding letter to said respondent.
