The Court made the following:
ORDER:
The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“....
to issue a Writ, order or directions, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the illegal action of the 3rd respondent in interfering with petitioners personal life and liberty, detained hours together and threatening to compromise by interfering in Civil disputes to settle the civil disputes in police station with the instigation of 4th respondent, despite of petitioners representation dated.17-05-2021 to the 2nd respondent, which is illegal, arbitrary, unjust, violation Articles 14,16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the settled law and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent not to interfere in civil disputes, threaten or harass the petitioners and their family members, and further direct the 2nd respondent to cause an enquiry against the respondents Nos.3 and 4 and take action as per law or otherwise petitioners and their families will suffer serious loss and great hardship and pass ...”
None represented for the Petitioners. Heard learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent State. Perused the material on record. At the time of hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home on Written Instructions received from respondent No.3, would submit that respondent Police never summoned the Petitioners to the Police Station nor asked them to settle the issue with respondent No.4 and his followers as alleged. A perusal of the material on record would show that this Court by Order dated 17.09.2021 in IA No.1 of 2021 directed respondent No.3/Station House Officer, Kurnool Urban Taluka Police Station, not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents. 4
In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim Order passed by this Court on 17.09.2021 in IA No.1 of 2021 is made absolute. No order as to costs. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed. DR.JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA Mjl/*
