1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for direction to the respondents to release her retiral benefits i.e. amount of gratuity and leave encashment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, she will be satisfied if a direction be given to respondent No.4 to decide the legal notice dated 15.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) served by the petitioner, by passing an appropriate speaking
order in a time bound manner.

4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vikas Arora, DAG, Punjab who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents and does not object to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 15.04.2025 (Annexure P- 3), within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. In event, the petitioner is held entitled for grant of relief as per the law as claimed in the legal notice, the same be also released within a period of 04 weeks thereafter.
