1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the Contemnor.
3. Alleging violation of order dated 11.07.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.23762 of 2021 the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present application.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset contended that this is the 4th journey of the Petitioner to this Court for implementation of order dated 11.07.2022. He further contended that the order passed by this Court was upheld by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.5842 of 2025 (State of Odisha & Ors. vs. Jita Luha) and a batch of similar other applications which were disposed of vide a common judgment dated

02.05.2025. Learned counsel for the Petitioner at this juncture contended that although the order passed by this Court has already been confirmed and order dated 11.07.2022 has attained finality. However, no steps have been taken for implementation of such
order. Being aggrieved by such deliberately inaction of the Opposite Party, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present contempt application.
5. In the aforesaid context, learned counsel for the Petitioner produced the information obtained under the RTI Act dated 10.05.2023 which reveals that there are 283 vacancies in the post Attendant. In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the Petitioner contended that the case of the Petitioner can very well be considered against such vacancies. He further alleged that the Opposite Party has deliberately not taken any action to consider the case of the Petitioner in terms of the notification of the State Govt. dated 04.04.2025 as well as the judgment dated 02.05.2025 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.6075 of 2025, arising out of SLP(C) No.19812 of 2024, hence it was alleged that the conduct of the Opposite Parties can very well be construed as an act of wilful and deliberate violation of this Court’s order.

Learned counsel for the Contemnor on the other hand contended that after disposal of the civil appeals by the Hon’ble Supreme Court pursuant to the decision of the State Govt. vide notification dated 04.04.2025, the State Govt. is taking prompt action to implement the orders passed by this Court in the light of the notification of the G.A. & P.G. Dept., Govt. of Odisha dated
04.04.2025. On such ground, learned counsel for the Contemnor sought for some more time to ensure that the order passed by this

Considering the submissions made by learned counsels appearing for the parties, further taking note of the notification of the Govt. dated 04.04.2025 as well as the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 02.05.2025, this Court grants further two months’ time to the Contemnor to ensure that the order dated 11.07.2025 passed in W.P.(C) No.23762 of 2021 is implemented in its letter and spirit.
8. Accordingly, the Contempt Proceeding is dropped.
