This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the work, viz., providing GSB approach road from Pedda Boring Centre to Sindhoori Hotel in Markapuram Road in Vinukonda Municipality, vide agreement No.254/2022-23, dt.22.02.2023, as entrusted by the 4th respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the work to the satisfaction of the 4th respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the work, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in M Books and final quality assessments were also done by the agency employed by the 4th respondent and thereafter the petitioner has submitted a final bill for a sum of Rs.3,38,158/- and the 4th respondent approved the same, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 3 W.P. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 4 and 7 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
