Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus direct to the respondent authority particularly respondent no.2 Sub-Divisional Officer, Sirsaganj, District Firozabad conclude the proceeding of Section 24 of Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code 2006 of Case no.13/22-23 /T-202401260500 829 filed by the petitioner Subhash Chandra under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner wants demarcation of his land in view of order passed by respondent no. 2 on 24.05.2024 in proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending and it would be appropriate that respondent no. 2 be directed to get the land demarcated. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move appropriate application under the provisions of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 before respondent no. 2 along with certified copy of this order within two weeks. 6. In case, such an application is moved by the petitioner, the respondent no. 2 is directed to get the land of the petitioner demarcated and get the boundary marks installed, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the opposite parties and giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
