The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers: “1. That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the registration of the final report of the Crime No. 523 of 2014 registered in Police Station Telibaandha Raipur and thereby registration Criminal Case No. 9795 of 2022 before learned Chief of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Raipur (C.G.) is hereby quashed in the interest of justice. 2. That any other direction or relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit may kindly be passed in favour of the petitioner.” 4. From the office note dated 24.09.2025, it is evident that several defects were pointed out by the Registry in the present petition, which indicates that the petitioner had filed this petition in a casual manner. The said defects have not been cured till date. Learned State counsel further submits that charges have already been framed against the petitioner on 12.06.2025, and the present petition has been filed only for quashing of the proceedings against the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, subject to depositing a cost of Rs. 5,000/- for having filed the petition in a casual manner and for not removing the defects till date, thereby wasting the precious time of the Court. The said amount shall be deposited by the 3 petitioner before the Registry of this Court, and a receipt thereof shall be produced at the time of filing the fresh petition, if any. The amount so deposited shall be transmitted to the Special School for Intellectually Handicapped Girls, District Narayanpur (C.G.).
