The writ petition seeks the following relief: "(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents and their Subordinates etc. not to demolish save in accordance with law, construction existing on the land in dispute (i.e. land included in 1349/3, having Khata Kevat No. 1 situated in town Miranpur Katra Tehsil Tilhar, District Shahjahanpur." 2. It appears that a notice was issued by the Nagar Panchayat on 7.2.2025 that the tenant of the petitioner had encroached over plot no. 1349 which was government land and it called upon the encroacher to remove the encroachment, failing which, legal proceedings would be drawn against him. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that this notice has been replied to by the petitioner. 4. Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with the observation that the reply, if any, filed by the petitioner may be considered by the respondents before proceeding further in the matter.
