Heard Sri Utkarsh Tripathi, holding brief of Sri Ambrish Chandra Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. 2. Present writ petition has been filed for following relief: "(i) Issue an order, direction or writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 10.10.2018 passed by Respondent no. 2. (ii) Issue an order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus the respondent authorities to pay the salary to the petitioner along with interest with effect from 27.04.2006 to 05.10.2007." 3. Consequent to the earlier orders, respondents have considered and passed orders on 23.09.2025 and released amount of Rs. 5,54,350/- in favour of the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, has submitted that though the respondents have released the salary as prayed in the writ petition, but they have not considered the request of interest for delay payment. 5. In view of the above, as the issue is settled by the authorities, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the request made by the petitioner with regard to interest as per rules and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two months from the date of receipt Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ambrish Chandra Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
