GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 34249 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of the respondent No.6 in harassing the petitioner by threatening to register false criminal cases against him on reports given by Thota Venkataramana as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent No.6 not to harass the petitioner by making calls/summoning him to police station in the interest of justice and to pass.…” 2. Heard Sri T.C.K. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station, in the absence of any crime registered. Learned counsel would further submit that a direction may be given to the police. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions would submit that based on the complaint made by one individual, the petitioner was called to the police station; however, he did not turn up and the matter is pending for enquiry. He would further submit that as on today, no crime has been registered against the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 6. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station since no crime has been registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
